    Default Java and other technologies...

    Hi everybody,
I am still learning java. I hope to get a java developer job ASAP. But, I have some problems. It may seem little silly. But, I should know about that, because I am confused.

What should I learn simultaneously with java to be a valued java programmer. That is, should I learn any other technologies or languages like Ajax, DBMS(I think MySQL, SQLServer etc.), any specified network technologies, security technologies, UML things or any scripting language, special development environments etc.?

Any response appreciate. Please tel me all about what should I know.

    Thank you.

What to learn boils down to what you want to do. Different jobs require different skill sets. I say find what is fun, learn that, and find a job you enjoy.

From what I've seen where I am, most jobs ask for Spring/Hibernate/JSP/Tomcat still. I would head in that direction and also start looking into newer technologies.
