Thread: Hello. Just Learning Java For Fun..

Hi Folks.

I have recently picked up a couple books about Java and am starting to learn, just for fun...

I have played a bit with C and have a little JavaScript experience as well. So far I gotta say I think I like Java better. Seems like you can get doing more a little quicker than C allows. Yet a lot of the general syntax I learned with C seems to apply.

I don't think I'll be much help to anybody right away here.. but hopefully I'll get there!

I like forums. They can be helpful. I have been an Ubuntu Forums member for a couple of years now and have used that resource on many occasions. I look forward to spending some time here in the future and get to know some folks around here.
