    Welcome to the forum
    i am building a website
With Java? I think Java's great, but it wouldn't be my first choice for "building a website" if I was "new to programming in any language". Are you sure you're not thinking of Javascript? Javascript is totally unrelated to Java. Except for the name, obviously.
