Default Android WorkFlow (MindMap) HELP for code

I am new to android programming, and am trying to code a mind map or workflow. I would like the user to be able to add a box, and move it around to begin. This is the first part that I would like to complete. Please advice on how to do this part. I tried looking for any examples, but couldn't find any. I was able to create a text box, but do not know how I can make it so that the user can touch and drag it around.

After that, they can touch and hold the box to bring up a pop-up menu that allows the user to edit the box. I am very confused, so any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

    Thank you so much.

Have you tried to code anything yet? Are you talking about TST (Touch Screen Technology) or
GUI-based (Event driven - user mouse button clicked) using the Swing/Awt Java Frameworks?
