    Default So just looking for a home!

    I guess I', new cause I haven't touched java since college and well I'm sick of my job and want to get back into programming!
    Been do the youtube introduction stuff to refresh me and its going soso. Plus been looking for game stuff since I'm most interested in that with my friend who has ignited this fire as well for me programming again. Just wish people would finish there tutorials on youtube!

    I am currently deployed with the Army(Reserver) and have come across some free time so I am not going to waste it while I'm here. Not much longer left here either hence the free time! WOOT!

    Welcome to the forums.

    If you're looking to get into game programming, you might want to take a look at Processing (which is really novice-friendly) as well as LWJGL and libGDX (which are more advanced but can do amazing things).

    Awesome I am currently looking to enroll in some courses as well to fresh my memory. I have the degree but I was one of those who never used it and picked up a good paying job that has nothing to do with my field but I hate it. So thanks for the information again it is much appreciated!!
