    Question What is a project file?

    I am new to Java. So please handle me with care because I am like a newborn.

    In C#, Microsoft expects a project to have a .cproj file. What is the equivalent in Java, and does it differ from one IDE to another?

    I don't use a large IDE with my java projects. Try asking at this site:
