    Default syntax error

    confirm("Are you ready to play?");
    var age = prompt("What is your age");

    if(age is less than 13);
    {
    console.log("You are allowed to play but we take no responsibility.");
    }
    else {
    console.log("Get ready for fun!");
    }



    Ihave no idea whats wrong sorry if its a no brainer im a super beginner

    Well, without knowing what is going on it's impossible
    to say. From what you have posted there are multiple errors.

    Can you post the whole code - including any error messages?

    Welcome to the forum! Please read this topic to learn how to post code in code or highlight tags and other useful info for new members.

    Please post your code correctly using code or highlight tags per the above link.

    This is not a Java statement:

    if(age is less than 13);

    but if it were, the semicolon at the end would terminate the if() statement and the code in the following clause would execute regardless the if() statement's result.
