    Default Programming Courses

Hello guys I am a noobie to this forum.

I would like to ask if anyone knows of any free Java programming courses in South Florida.

I prefer Broward or Dade County.

I start this summer with a C programming class in college but I would love to learn Java now.

I am interested in Java because I want to build Android Applications as well as ROM development which is why I need C and C++ under my belt.

Unforunately there is no Java classes available over the summer for me so i am looking for an alternative.

I prefer a free class but if there are only paid ones or any person here is willing to teach me I am willing to pay/donate.

Yes I know there are free video tutorials etc but I prefer an actual live person teaching me.

I will even do Skype or something similar if you can help me learn.

Like I said I am willing to pay or donate.

    Thank you very much

Are you looking to learn programming in general? If so, you might want to check out Code Year on Code Academy.

Or if you're looking to specifically learn Java, the tutorials are your best place to start: The Java™ Tutorials

I don't want to be pessimistic, but I'd be extremely dubious about somebody offering to teach you Java for money. There are tons of free tutorials, and you can get help in any number of forums, for free, when you get stuck.

I understand the desire to have a mentor, but I'd demand to see a portfolio of previous work, lessons taught, etc. before handing over any money.
