Wink Hello ya bunch of programmers...

    hey there,
i'm shuvo from kolkata, india. i study in st. augustine's day school(rippon street) and stay near seal lane(tangra).

i'm in class 12 now and have finally noticed that i have a subject called computer science. imagine my surprise!!! and now java is being shoved down my throat, which, btw, is starting to hurt. so i've decided to stop trying to go against the flow. better join em since i can't beat em. so now i plan to wholeheartedly learn java.

hope u guys help me along. god bless...

lol! I know you are a C++ fan Chris. Sounds like your another person forced to learn Java for your CS course! Java is indeed a rather lazy language but IDEs these days make everyones life easier and great documentation has to be a plus point!

LOL, i'm a fan of C++ as well. However, I wouldn't mind having Java's API or JavaDoc in C++... The similarities between the two languages meant that the transition wasn't too difficult
