    I'm 100% new to java programming. I'm hoping to further excel my coding knowledge to java, but I have no idea where to start. Anyways, I'm here and I'm ever so happy to be here.

    Welcome!
    Java is a great language , personally I'd recommend on getting Cay Horstmann's Big Java if you're planning on getting a book, but each to their own I guess .
