    Sir,

    Both RIM and Web Server receive the request from client and then both process the request and after processing the request
    both send response to client ...so i want to know difference between theses two..

    RMI describes the function/procedure/object structure of a remote function/procedure/object as if it was locally. RMI must be compiled in your local codes. On the remote host a RMI server executes the request and send the result back to the requester.
    A Webserver works similar a RMI server. The difference lies also in the Client code. For example, a JMS or a JavaBean request can be seen as a RMI request but a Web link isn't.
