" Default value of an Array is null " says my java trainer is it true??
He gave this example :
He said 0 refers to the default int value stored inside the array, which is not exactly the default value of an Array
Please help understand this..

Please help understand this..
In the code, ar is a reference to an int array. It's value in the code is null because nothing has been assigned to it.
If the code were changed to assign it a value:then its value would be a 5 element int array.int[] ar = new int[5];
Because nothing has been assigned to the individual elements of the array, there values would be 0.
