    Default Missing a javadoc comment error in Bluej

    Working with bluej and simply trying to run this code. Error is "Missing a javadoc comment" on the line beginning with "public static void..." on "column 5". Very new to Java as it is for a computer science class with extremely vague instructions. Unsure why this error is being thrown. Any help is appreciated!

        public static void main(String[] args)
            int x = 1;
            int y = 8;
            System.out.println("x+y=" + (x + y));

    Default Re: Missing a javadoc comment error in Bluej

    The post code is missing the declaration for an enclosing class.

    See the tutorial: https://docs.oracle.com/javase/tutor...classdecl.html
