    Default JOptionPane

    Anyone knows the full parameters of showInputDialog,showMessageDialog? and what are the possible values i can use? Thanks in advance.

    The best place to look is the API doc: Java Platform SE 7

    Find the class in lower-left frame, click and doc will show in main frame.

    Does it mean Input and Message Dialog have the parameters (parentComponent,message,messagetype,optiontype,op tions,icon,title,initialvalue) ?

    Your search for the API that details the method showMessageDialog() should have led you to this page. It is not consistent with your last question, so I'm not sure what you were looking at.

    The compiler will tell you if you are coding it incorrectly. Did you try writing a small program for testing?
