    Default Java Game Launching Problem

    Hello,

This is my 2nd thread on this forum.
I would really like some help from this java community.

We have created a website called GameOn247.com and we’re having some issues.
We’re trying to pinpoint what the problem is.

I would like to ask you guys for some help.

Please follow these steps and let me know your results.

    ANY help is greatly appreciated!

    1. Go to : GameOn247.com

    2. Quickly register.

    3. Try to launch the “Black Jack” game from the GO247 page

Found here: August 18 2011 win Tournament prizes for free playing sports picks & Vegas games to become Today's Champion.

    4. Report your findings

    Example

    Operating System : Mac Lion
    Browser : Safari
Error Message : Invalid Plug In
What Happened : Game didn’t launch
Did Black Jack load successfully : No

Hint: Asking people to go to another website decreases your chances of getting help by about 80%.

Asking them to register decreases your chances by about 99%.

Making it easier to help you is always a good idea. Do you have an actual problem? Or are you just trying to recruit visitors?

You were told about crossposting before. What part of it didn't you understand? That's yet another way to decrease your chances of somebody wanting to help you. RUDE.

This thread has been cross posted here:

Although cross posting is allowed, for everyone's benefit, please read:

Buncha whiners? Pretty sure I'm the only one complaining, and I'm complaining about the crossposting more than anything. You were kind enough to go to a different website and register. I don't predict many others will be. That's all I'm saying.

This forum isn't closing his threads, Java-Forums is closing them over there, which we don't control. Yet he still insists on crossposting there, which decreases his chances of getting help here (read the link on the problems with crossposting for why that is).

I understand getting people to try out a program on different systems, I simply disagree with his approach.

I agree with you post on java-forums Kevin. Making a test site with no registration would help.

I would not have registered just for this. He's lucky I had found his site weeks ago.

Sorry to call you a whiner Kevin, I do see your point of view now.
