    Default Coursera's Java courses

    Hello,
I Just joined this forum and want to introduce myself.
I am retired, and have decided to study computer programming in my spare time, which I have plenty of these days. The only question I have right now is this:
I'm going to sign up for coursera's Java courses but wanted to know if any of you have had any experience with Coursera.org's courses.
If so, please give me your thoughts on their courses. Are they any good? I am not interested in learning in order to get a job as a programmer. I just want to learn for the fun & challenge of learning. To keep my mind sharp.

    Thanks in Advance

Since you're learning just for fun and to keep your mind sharp, I think Coursera’s Java courses would be a good fit. They cover the basics well and let you explore more advanced topics if you want. If you ever decide to dive into other areas, you might also check out some Microsoft Applied Skills courses. They’re more hands-on and practical, which could be interesting if you're looking to learn more about how these skills apply in real-world scenarios.
