    If a function returns no value, its return type is void

    accessModifier ReturnType functionName(params)
    {}

    example

    public void doStuff()
    {}

    If i previously had a reference to an Object named obscureObject and I wanted to create a new reference to it, I would do this:

    Object newReference = obscureObject;

    You can access class members and methods with the dot ( . ) operator.

    Methods
    newReference.methodWithoutParams();
    newReference.methodWithParams(params);

    Members
    newReference.someVariable;
