Default Ok to post Javadoc related beta invite?

We have just released to beta Java / Javadoc support for our documentation authoring toolset and I would like to post details here on how to get hold of the beta version as we're keen to try and get as many Java users involved in the beta as possible. Would it be ok to post the details in this forum? Are there other forums here where it would be ok to post (e.g. relating to general Java tools) ?

You could probably try the cafe (The Cafe), as the member introduction forum doesn't get that kind of attention.

I'd also suggest you make the process as simple as possible (requiring people to read details on how to get hold of the beta version will only prevent people from caring). People aren't going to work (read, sign up, login, join, etc) to do a favor for you- make it as quick and painless as possible, or nobody will even bother to click any links you post. Just my two cents.
