Default new here - into some java action

    Hi there,

Nice to find a good java resource, I trust there will be some good helpful minds here.

I'm planning a web-based project, and have decided to go with using java applets instead of just javascript & asp (or php).

I'll need to use the java database stuff, unsure how well it will work from java applets, with a db stored on a server, but I guess I'll find out as I learn more and try stuff.
Wondering if I'll still have to rely on database code within the scripting pages.

anyway, nice to meet you all (in advance)

    Adam.
