Default Didn't see this forum... but hey!

I'm LordQuackstar (LQ for short), and I'm a pretty experienced programmer. I used to do web development a few years ago, designing my own (poor) CMS in PHP because drupal scared me. But I realized I'm not creative enough, so I moved on to backend stuff, ending up in java.

For the past 6 months I've been writing nothing but java very frequently. I wrote a game distrobution system for a company and am now working on Quackbot, an advanced but easy to use IRC bot, and Quackcast (closed-source), an app to play podcasts through the native music player on the Android.

I'm good enough with Java to answer alot of questions except when it comes to Web Development, which I hate (my opinion: Java does not belong on a webserver).

    Hello and welcome LQ.

I must say I disagree with you on the Java and web bit but I guess that's because I earn a living doing that and I love it
