Default Hello from a new programmer

    Hi all-

So I'm quite inexperienced with Java...I've taken a class but struggled a lot and still feel pretty darn lost. Found this forum doing a search for how to do an 'assignment' suggested by a friend and thought it would be a good idea to sign up and read through some posts and see if I could gain some better understanding. I'm relatively inexperienced with tech in general, and am pretty overwhelmed with the idea of catching up, let alone keeping up

Looking forward to learning from the more experienced!

The key to getting better is to challenge yourself to get better and learn new things, and then practice, practice, practice. We'll help when we can, but only you can decide it's important enough to make the effort.

Welcome. There are a lot of volunteers here with lots of different experience. I'm sure many of them will be helpful.
If you don't understand my answer, don't ignore it, ask a question.

Keep trying, the first steps are always the hardest.
