I have just started learning Java. I found different tutorials show different learning tools e.g. Eclipse, springtools suite etc. I am confused which one to follow.

Eclipse is an IDE (Integrated Development Environment), use as a keyword in your favorite search engine. Swing is not a tool.
Try one, try them all, be able to develop from the command line.
In the end use your favorite, but be able to use what ever is available when you are asked to do something (<--- probably most important)
