Thread: Hello Everyone!

Nice to meet you!

I go by Mistriver21, or Misti. I started learning Java a few months back, so I'm still pretty new to everything. I usually get my friend to help with my problems with code, but occasionally he gets stumped, so I found this site. As it is right now, I don't program much other than for my actual programming class, but I haven't needed help on those programs as of yet.
I am interested in programming games, so I usually need help with file i/o or with graphics and gui. I like programming things for myself that make things easier for myself instead of having to write things down. So far that only includes a program to help solve math problems when I've forgotten my scientific calculator.
