    Hello Everyone,

The name is Leigh. 30yo and from Melbourne, Australia. I started university 12 years ago straight out of high school. I decided at the time that I wanted to take a year off and get some life experience / work experience. Well, long story short, I took me 12 years years to go back. Doing a Full-Time B.Tech degree online and working at the same time, among other commitments. It takes it's toll.

I found this forum on Tapatalk (keyword: Java). I like to have access to forums both on PC and Tapa.. this limited the search as there aren't many in the list and half aren't in English.

Love getting involved with forums, they're a great place to learn and help others.

I don't really have any projects on the go at the moment. The creative juices are flowing and I have some ideas for applications to implement here where I work, my boss will love the free software I'm sure. I hope to see quite a few projects through to completion before I finish my degree as all employers would like to see at least 1 year project experience even for a grad position. It sucks being time poor sometimes! What do they say? Eat some concrete and harden up. lol

Well that takes care of that, hope to get to know some of you.

    Regards.

    Hi Kewish,

    Welcome to the forums!

That Tapatalk thing used to bother me when I accessed this forum on a tablet, but has stopped doing that recently. Is it any good? I suppose I could give it a try.

    Thanks pbrockway2,

I'm a huge advocate for Tapatalk. It takes the pain out of forum browsing when on a smart phone. To be honest I haven't really used a tablet for forum browsing but if it were on a 3G connection, it would fall into a similar category in my opinion. On wifi, I would still stick to the full version. The only downside to Tapatalk that I see for this particular forum is the formatting of code. Obviously it will be leaps and bounds better on the desktop version, correctly formatted and with correct BBCode Tags, etc. Tapa doesn't do this.

And no, I'm not a salesman for Tapatalk. Lol. But it is a great buy for around $3.00 or whatever it is nowadays.

If you give it a test run, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
