    Lightbulb Hello Java! Hello Everyone!

Hi everyone, I am a new member here. I am from China but currently working for a small iOS development company in Australia.

I am interested in programming very much and that interest keep driving me studying and working actively. My major was not about computer programming but material chemical and engineering. But I keep learning programming during my spare time since 2001 when I was studying in a university in China for my bachelor degree in material chemical. Since that, I learned many other programming languages such as Basic, C/C++, Delphi(I like it very much because of its beauty, OOP and powerful GUI constructing ability and much more) and others. I come to Australia for study at 2009. After 2 years study for master degree and graduated, one of my friends introduce me to her company which is the one I am working for.

Nowadays, IT is changing at very fast speed. For the past several years, I kept learning windows programming but now I think there are no great future for windows programming any more. I think I waist much time for learning those technique. Therefor I decide to learn Java which is a cross-platform language. And I believe Java has future because of its special features like cross-platform, simple but powerful , robust, enterprise application development and so on.

It is very nice to meet you guys here. I am glad I found a good forum and join a java family like this one.
