    How do i have a jButton Open a URL?

    Add an ActionListener to the JButton (see How to Write an Action Listener (The Java™ Tutorials > Creating a GUI With JFC/Swing > Writing Event Listeners)), then grab the html source using something like the following: http://www.javaprogrammingforums.com...bsite-url.html To display the source like a browser, you will need something a bit more complex (a JEditorPane has limited capability, but there are 3rd party libraries such as The DJ project which might be more thorough)

    Also, i am a beginner so please dont be dumb
    Not sure what this means...but a statement like this can easily be take in the wrong way, somewhat like fishing for help and insulting that help at the same time.
