    Talking OCR in Java

    Sorry if wrong forum!!!

    i need to do ocr in java .
    fo exp software get pic in jpg format and read word in it & put them in array.

    This is not a trivial task. Your best bet is to find a 3rd party library for this. Google is your friend.

    I'm really interested in doing OCR as well and to be more specific ANPR but I've not yet given this a shot yet and I might not ever have time to haha. OCR is indeed not trivial and you're best in trying to google this for a third party library as mentioned above.
