Obtaining File System in Use
Hi,
I am writying a simple file manager and I need to know if there is a method to know what file system on a selected drive is used. (NTFS, JFS etc...)
any help is appreciated

Out of curiosity, why do you need that information?
I don't think it's in either of these places, but you might want to take a look at the map returned from System.getenv(), or the methods in FileSystemView.

I use eCS (OS/2) and am using partitions formated in FAT32, NTFS, HPFS and JFS and would like that info shown when I select a partition.
