Post Ireport or Jaspersoft beginner help.

I am getting this error in my code: Element type "topPen" must be declared so not sure how to fix the issue. Thanks

    Jakehngo,

I helped you solve the "cast to string error" in the other thread. Here you were supposed to ask for help with why the "topPen" element is missing from your XML. If you're still having trouble formatting member birth dates like you need, you should continue asking in the other thread for that. And if you still can, I would edit this post and rephrase the question to specifically ask about the missing "topPen" element. Divide and conquer. Solve one problem at a time.

BinaryDigit09 ---yes you are correct. I am still a newbie and still learning so will ask in my previous thread that the 'cast to string error' is still not working.
