As to answer your question, obviously you can. Let me give you an example:-
class example {int ex; public example() {ex=10; } }
Here, the constructor is being used to initialize variable ex automatically during program running with value 10. In fact, any type of method can contain access specifiers, be it constructor or any method/function.

Uppercase for first letter
No statement following {
class Example { int ex; public Example() { ex=10; } }
