Question Switching Career from being a Java Developer

    Hi all

Ive been a java developer for 8 years now and now working as a Lead. Off lately ive been getting bored with the technical career i have been having and want to switch my role. Ive been wishing to have a role that would be non technical and also have a lot of travelling involved.
What would be the options i can get for this.
    Please advice.

    Regards
    Prasad

    Commercial pilot? Maybe not.

Consultant? Instructor for hire? But then you'd be consluting and teaching what you already know, and that may be back to the technical career you're trying to leave behind.

What interests you? What are you good at or could you be good at that involves travel? Determine your strengths in your areas of interest and develop a marketable skill that allows you to do those things in a variety of places. Network with others who do similar things and are willing to give you advice. Find a mentor who has made a similar career shift and latch on, following their advice. Don't expect it to happen overnight, and be prepared to make an investment in yourself and your future. The bigger the change, the bigger the investment might be.
