Interested in Java programming for gaming machines but need help.

    Are there any interested parties?

Have had no time in recent past to pursue java due to pressure of work !
In relation to java programming for gaming machines, I really don't know where to start. What "import" for gaming images etc?
I have looked at a few programs on the internet, (eg. youtube), but not very good guide.
If you could give me main pointers I think I might manage.
    Regards
    Val
