    Question Titles

    What are all the titles?

How many do you need to get Java Kindergarten?

How many do you need to get Junior Member?

How many do you need to get Member?

How many do you need to get Senior Member?

How many do you need to get Elite Member?

How many do you need to get Senile Half Wit?

How many do you need to get Moderator?

How many do you need to get Super Moderator?

How many do you need to get Administrator?

Are there any other levels I'm not aware of?

Also, what are the coffee cups for?

userName is on a distinguished road.

userName will be famous soon enough

userName is someone you want to know!

and the other one I can't recall.

Couldn't find an answer for this in the FAQ.

I'm not sure about the post counts, but the coffe cups are for reputation. The more times people press the REP+ button the more reputation you get.

    Hello javapenguin,

The user titles are built into the forums.
The longer a person is registered dictates their user title. I think the amount of posts may also affect it.

Ones like Junior Member, Member, Senior Member & Elite Member are the default settings.

I will have to let you know the exact amount of time/posts needed to go up one.

User titles such as 'Senile Half Wit' are custom user titles. I have given the mods the ability to update their user titles to whatever they wish. I am thinking about extending this to our regular posters as well.

Moderator, Administrator and Super Moderator are reserved for the people who help run the forums.

The coffee cups are a users repuation level. By default these are little green squares but I updated them to coffee cups to make them more relevant The more coffee cups you have shows you have built up a positive reputation on the forums.

The values displayed when you mouse over them are also the default values. I would like to update these at some point.

The amount of reputation you get when a user clicks REP+ all depends on the users reputation himself. Members with a higher reputation will give you more points each time they click REP+ over a new member.

You may also notice that some members have a little gold trophy too.. This is because they are a high score holder in the arcade. Java Programming Forums - Arcade

I hope this helps clear things up!

Just to confirm; The user titles are set by the amount of posts a user has, not the amount of time registered.

    The current values are:

    Junior Member - 0 posts
    Member - 30 posts
    Senior Member - 500 posts
    Elite Member - 1000 posts
    JPF GOD - 4000 posts

I will probably update these values soon and maybe add others. If you have any ideas for user titles, please let me know.
