    Well, I'm also new to android development, but I've actually found <a href="http://developer.android.com/training/index.html">Google's Official Training</a> to be quite helpful for the basics. Most of the other stuff is the same as in Java from what I've seen, but if you need a tutorial on specific things, searching Youtube for a tutorial helps me quite often!
