Re: Implementing Heap from an ArrayList

Sorry, I can't help with the IDE's debugger. I use println() statements to print out the values of variables as they are used and changed.

Re: Implementing Heap from an ArrayList

How did that happen? The code executes ok for me (no exceptions).

I see very few comments in the code and have no idea what it is trying to do at the statement and method level.

Re: Implementing Heap from an ArrayList

It looks like the output should be in descending order.

How are you debugging the code so you see what the computer sees when the code executes?

  7. Re: "Estimating Pi: A Wallis formula versus a Leibnitz formula" Issues with my scanner

The second posted code has lost its formatting. (The first code is OK) Logically nested statements need to be indented to make the code readable.
Please edit the post and fix the code's formatting.

I do not see any comments in the code that mentions previous amounts. How does the program save them?
How does the code save the latest 10? Does it push the earliest transaction off the array?...

Please use code tags around the code, not quote tags.

    Re: help needed asap please.

The error message says that the code at line 129 calls pop() with an empty stack.
No idea what to suggest without seeing the code.

Basically make sure the stack has contents before calling pop().
