Re: How to rearrange an array?

Since you are "Compiling" into a string, you can just use a reverse loop, like Junky said, and then add the elements one at a time to w. Don't forget to add spaces!

Re: SIMPLE PROGRAMING PROBLEMS help!!

True, but when you think about it &, |, &, and ~ (Does Java have bitwise-not?) is designed for numbers, not Booleans. A SIDE EFFECT of booleans being bytes makes it work on booleans like you would...

Admittedly I've only gotten the perspective to work once XD. I'm interested in this now though... I have yet to find a matrix that can do projections...how do you do that? I'm glad you went with the...

Re: Creating an algorithm to do this

How about searching for some code on Google that does this kind of loop? Maybe "nested loops" or "looping over 2D array" might help. Even if it's code in C, C++, C# or some other language you might...

Hmm... Well, since you can fit most any program to a stack...try doing it without a stack first. Keep in mind you can probably use more than one stack. ;)

Seriously, the way I learned was making random fun stuff. I didn't master Java until I decided to make a program that could be put on a computer system to run a bank. I...

I think we might need more details as to what work you have done and the specifics of what needs to be done.

You still have a System.exit() call? It must not actually be called, because...well...that stops EVERYTHING.

Re: SIMPLE PROGRAMING PROBLEMS help!!

& is not a logical operator, strictly. However it is good to know that it is a short-circuit work around, and not a 8-times the calculation minimum faceplant. :D

I hate JavaScript. In my opinion you should just...try not to use it...at all costs, except impossibility. And who told you JavaScript is called "Java"? They're...well they're...they don't know what...

Re: New to programming and need some help

I believe that is what he means. The only thing you have to change from M = p*(i*(1 + i)^n)/((1 + i)^n - 1) is that instead of x^n you have to make it Math.pow(x, n), because in Java x^n means x XOR...

This is what I found about the invariant, and I don't know if it is applicable to your problem. The invariant is either an input that is unvaried by the...

Depends on what you are doing. How complicated is your program. I know when I trace that I have like 5 stacks of papers that all mean different things. Plus a stack of papers for every class I ever...

Re: How to make console output bold

It's worth noting that NetBeans is going to react differently then your console. Try exporting it to a runnable jar and test it, that should give you an idea of what it actually looks like.
