As far as im aware, the forums will not mark as read until all forums with new posts have been visited atleast once. Even old threads.

I think I do have these issues actually but I've never really marked the forums as read. I will do some testing myself soon. Busy busy busy at work at the moment. Wish I had more time to crack on...

:( There must be a bug in the forum software. Hopefully it'll be resolved when I do the next upgrade.
