Hi, I am looking for a programmer who would be interested in helping code a game. Since I have no start up capital, this project is considered "Hobby" status, but as soon as it generates revenue you will be offered a full time job at very nice pay. I have source code for the server and client to work from, all you really have to do is know enough java to know what the code means, heavily modify it, and re-release it for a web applet.

I wonder where u got the sourcecode from if you don't even know what it means? I bet you didn't made it but modifying someone elses code without permission is a no-no to me.

Ah, let me clarify. I only know minimal Java. We DID have a programmer, but he quit due family problems. So i'm left with half a source code and I only understand parts of it. I don't personally have the knowledge to work on it to finish it nor do I have the knowledge to add graphics and such.

What kind of game is it?

Well, the goal is a Massively Online Multiplayer 3D game. It is inspired by a game called Runescape. But I assure you, what code I DO have is 100% written by galkon. We are NOT trying to recreate runescape, we are wanting to create a game that has the elements that we feel other said game lacks. So pretty much, its a "If you dont like it, make your own game" type of thing. and here we are.

Well, runescape is a pretty advanced game to code. You are saying you got half of it coded so i'm curious what does and what doesn't work.

I have never programmed a game before but I think I'll have the skills to move things forward. I am pretty handy with graphics etc too so I would be interested in helping the project.
