    Default Error

    Hi All,
    Please read the following sample to understand my code, I am running into error, and need your help,( I am following Decorator Design Pattern)
    Interface Int{
    }

    Class A implements Int{
    }
    Class B extends A{
    }

    Class X implements Int{
    }
    Class Y extends X{
    }

    Main ()
    {
    A object = new B();
    object = Y(object); //<<<< Error
    I suspect the error is due to my constructors, but not sure, please let me know how to overcome this issue. thanks

    Default Re: Error

    First, Y is not a method so if you are trying to define a new object you must construct it. Second, the classes do not define a constructor that accepts the parameter type you are trying to pass. See the following:
