    Default Hi Im new, and need help

    Im am currently in a course of java programing, i want to know everything there is to know about the language, i want to learn how to use everything, i am in a class of 13, and im the youngest (17 years old) its a certificate IV in networking and programing, and everyone in my class know everything about it, there all 27 years and older that talk to me about computer science and i sit there and nod my head, i just want someone to direct me in the right way,im not good with understanding "variables, booleans, floats, double short, etc... but i do want to learn everything there is to know, and ill be looking at peoples problems on the forums to learn more and see how everything is put together.

    please dont flame me, i just want to learn, and i can garentee 2 years from now, i will know everything there is to know, i am finishing studying at 9pm from 10 am, then i come home and study till 12 midnight, thank you for reading.

    I can almost guarantee that there isn't a single programmer who knows everything about Java (even those who have been programming Java since the day it was first released), only those who pretend to know everything. However, if you learn the basics of the language, learn about computer science*, and then learn to read Javadoc (or any documentation), you can be one of those who pretends to know everything about Java

    *: this is the most important, followed closely by knowing how to read Javadoc.
