    Default Hey there everyone!

Hiya! I am currently pursuing a major in computer science. It is only my second semester at college, so that makes me still a freshman.

Today was my first day of spring semester and I already received a huge programming assignment that is due two weeks from today. I plan on being an active member so that I can be more than just an "average" student. I want my programs to be spectacular!

Unfortunately I am new to programming in java. One of my computer classes is Computer Organization and Programming, which is a sophomore class. This is the class that gave me the programming assignment and the reason why I joined this forum today.

Personally I am a bit nervous because the teacher expects all the students to know how to do it without a lesson on it, since its a sophomore class. Dropping the class is not an option because I am not that type of person and like a challenge. I am not looking or asking for any freebie answers to my assignments, if I was that would ruin the whole point of me taking this class, lol. I am looking for suggestions and tips on improving the programs I will be making and I believe this place is the best for that.

Thanks to all who took the time to read all this.
