    Default Hey.

Hello there. My name is Reece and I'm from the United Kingdom. I'm really new to Java and I don't really know much about the language at all. To be honest, I just want to learn this language as a hobby. I did start picking up the basics of the language Ruby, which I'm now no longer learning. The reason I stopped with Ruby is because one of my friends told me that Java would be a better language to learn.

I'm basically back at square one. I registered to this forum because I could probably do with some help when I start picking things up. I really don't want to be spoon fed everything due to the risk of not picking up the language. For now, I'm just browsing Google to pick up on the basics. I do have a certain goal that I want to reach with this language. I really want to make a Blackjack game. The reason I want to make that game is because a friend told me that it was a good project to start with. I have quite a few really good ideas that I would like to put in motion after I've finished this first project. One step at a time though I guess.

Well, I'm going to end my introduction here because I've started to write a book by the look of this post.
