Thread: Moving from Animation to JAVA programmer

Hi People,

I need little help, I mean big help I am in animation industry from last 8 year, worked on international animation movie project, I want to start carrier as JAVA programmer, please suggest me how can I start new Carrier, I did JAVA around 5 year back, I am bit confuse , or may be you people suggest me, what can I do?..... please provide me some book details regarding JAVA..... and is it good idea for me to change carrier option, & is it like fresh start for me as I know JAVA little bit...

Welcome! I don't know that you'll find the most useful career advice here, but you might post a similar topic in The Cafe, possibly in the Totally Off Topic sub-forum, but you pick.

I suggest you be specific about what you'd like to do as a Java programmer, describe what skills you have already, and ask for specific advice on what to study to achieve your goals. There are people here who are in or have experience in most areas and will help if they see your topic.
