New to the Forum - a little about myself

Hi folks! I am oldogb and I am new to this forum. I am currently enrolled in a Java class and wanted to find a place where I could learn how the experts do it. I have been in the IT field a very long time. Started in the hardware area, then to LAN and Network admin then into management. I realized that being the boss was not my thing, so back to being a techie. I have done coding in COBOL, basic and scripting. I also know a little javascript and cold fusion. This is my first foray into java and it is both tough and exciting. I look forward to getting to know some of you as we go along. Choa!
