    Default Greetings from Shambolic

Hi all. I started teaching myself Java a couple of months ago, and it seems like a good idea to join the community here to help expand my understanding. I've programmed a bit in C in the past, but I'm quite a novice programmer.

Officially, I'm a graduate student in theoretical physics. I'm pursuing programming partly as a hobby, and partly as a way to make myself more employable, as I don't know what I want to do after my doctorate!

Hi Json. Yes, living in Oxford at the moment - it's a nice place. I'm actually Australian though, just here for a few years to drink your beer and plunder your universities!
