Hello Java Community,
I am Inked_in_Java .....I am a converting from C# to Java programming!
I am looking forward to learning and helping others learn Java.I just installed JavaFX 2 and Scene Builder 1, if anyone has any tutorials or knowledge to share I would appreciate it

Welcome.
Why are you moving from C# to Java?
You might be interested in these JavaFX links. The first is newsy with sometimes interesting info about JavaFX. The second is a comprehensive intro tutorial (start at the bottom), but I'm not sure what happened to parts 1 and 2. I looked around for them a bit but gave up.

Beyond that, the most up to date info, tutorials, and examples can be found on Oracle's JavaFX web pages and in the latest Java SDK development releases. I haven't observed a large adoption of JavaFX by the academic or existing user community, but I suspect it'll come when the design, features, libraries, etc. stabilize. And there may be pockets of adoption out there that I haven't found yet.

Thank You for the Welcome....
I decided to move from C# to Java for 2 reasons. the first is , all the tools needed to develop in Java are free...Unlike the money hungry Microsoft....I use the VS Express version which is free but limited....I just downloaded JavaFX 2 and Scene Builder 1.0 , ALL FREE NOT LIMITED.....
the second reason is : Java is platform independent , so I can create programs for any operating system...unlike Microsoft , where I can only create programs for Windows Machines.
I started programming in C# about 6 months ago....I came from a Visual Basic 6 background so I am quite a beginner. although the syntax is very similar...so I hope there isn't much of a learning curve.
