    Default Hello everyone

    Hi,

My name is Chris Smith, aged 17.
I'm currently a hobbiest programmer in the UK. I have had no formal teaching or lecturing in programming.
My main language is C++ however in september I will be going to study Computer Science at the University of Wales, Bangor. Who's main development and teaching language is Java, so I have recently began to look over a bit of Java and hope to learn and help others along the way.

    Cheers,
    Chris

Interesting, I've heard good things about Bangor, also I find their research into Medical Practises in CS to be outstanding, they employ some very good visual techniques combined with hardware to produce some very nice practise equipment for operations and such.

I look forward to be able to hang around, and bring much knowledge to this place when I start my course.

PS Thank you for the warm welcome.

    Regards,
    Chris
