    Default Hello from the netherlands

Hello everybody, im elmar. Currently studying electro engineering at a university. second year comming up.
I found out about java in my first year of electro engineering, where we had to learn the basics of the basics. Sadly enough we stopped after 3 months with programming in java. But i liked it so much that i've been trying to teach myself more java, just for fun! I'm an expert in Gamemaker Language, and know the basics of C++. Now im trying to master java completely. I'll try to help out as much as possible on this forum, since i think it's great how people are getting helped here on this forum.
I found out about this forum by google. I was having a hard time with sockets, then i googled for some java forums. And this was the 3rd hit or something.
