Hello everyone, found the forum threw tapatalk and had a browse threw and liked what I seen, good job.
I am new to java, don't know a thing about it, I know HTML and a little php, I was looking to start on the basics on java. It is out of curiosity to help me decide where to start learning and what platform.
If you have an suggestions it would be very helpful or if you could point me in the way of a topic that is about this I would be very grateful
    Thanks for taking the time

Hello Veyper, welcome to the Java Programming Forums.

It's great to hear you found us through tapatalk. I use it myself but I am unaware as to how many other people use it.

The best place to start learning Java is at the official Java Tutorials - Trail: Getting Started (The Java™ Tutorials)

    All the best.

    Welcome Veyper,

The links JavaPF put forward is a good one .

Just thought I'd jump in and say that I am an up and coming PHP programmer, so it's nice to have someone else who knows it around. Although I am sure many people here do haha!
