    Hello,

I'm a beginner when it comes to programming. I have downloaded and installed NetBeans and written my first Java program today in the Library. Where i also borrowed two books and brought home.

I did some programming in the mid 90's mainly Turbo Pascal and C/C++ but also a little ASM.
But i haven't been programming for 12years and i am excited to start programming again, for now it will only be for fun but maybe after next summer if i'm still enjoying programming, i'll try to get into the University.

I'm 30 years old, live in Sweden and are a happy dude most of the time....

    Over and out!

I'm new to Java development too (Just two week of learning so far).

I can heartily recommend the book Head First Java if you find your library books aren't what you need.
